Whatever your musical taste, anyone who has played in a band will know that it takes teamwork to make the dream work. Each instrument and instrumentalist has a role towards achieving harmonious synchronisation. The French horn is the ‘bridge’ between woodwind and brasswind instruments due to its warm and velvet sound. It mediates between strings and winds to make itself essential for any orchestra.
In the hands of Ben Goldscheider, this sound is magically captured and delivered with brilliance. Nominated by the Barbican and Classic FM as a Rising Star, Ben has played with the BBC Symphony Orchestra and at major concert halls including Wigmore Hall. Accompanied by Richard Uttley (piano) they will soon be performing live in Scunthorpe at Outwood Academy, Foxhills on Friday, 8th March 2024
Noted for the integrity and breadth of his musicianship as soloist, chamber musician and recording artist, Richard has been recognised for his musical intelligence and pristine facility.
Works will feature Beethoven, Schubert, Strauss and Debussy and a piece written by Richard himself.
